How I Edit my Photos for Instagram

Hey everyone. So I saw one of my favourite bloggers do a post on how she edited her flatlays for Instagram and I has helped me a lot, so I thought I would show you how I edit my nature/outdoor photos.

These are the apps I have to edit my photos. They are all free but for some of them you can buy premium upgrades. I mostly use MOLDIV or PICSPLAY because they are the easiest to use and have no water mark.

When I edit a photo I never use filters. I just don’t like them. I would adjust the clarity, exposure, vibrance, highlights/shadows and the sharpness. Here is a picture I took today at a hotel.

This is the original with no changes made to it.

And this is the edited picture. Not much has changed but it does look a little bit better. Here is what I have changed.

Blur border added , Clarity 100 , Contrast -2 , Brightness +33 , Vibrance +28 , Shadows +21 , Highlights +9 , Sharpen +5

It’s not much but it looks so much brighter. This is how I normally edit my photos. I hope this has helped those of you who don’t know how to edit your photos. Thank you all for making my 2016 so amazing.

xoxo Rosamae
