I think Blogmas this year might just work out! Anyways, this post is a collab with the wonderful Batch of Beauty. Make sure when you’re done here to go over to her blog and check out her post too because she’s doing an evening routine post as opposed to a morning one. Now, on to my morning routine! (Note: I had already written this post but the draft never saved when I went to post it yesterday on my phone hcfhjfyud (keyboard slam))
My mornings start off at around 9 o’clock in the morning (weekdays for school it’s usually around half 6 or 7). I make my bed and head downstairs for breakfast. Cereal is my go-to breakfast these days, especially with warm milk and a cup of tea! Thinking now how much tea I drink a day, I could quite possibly have tea coursing through my veins at this point! Aha, whoops!
Anyways, next, I head back upstairs (probably tripping on a couple of steps too!) to get dressed. I usually wear a pair of black leggings or jeans and a plain t-shirt, preferably black or in the words of Lego Batman “Very dark grey”. No matter where I am going, I ALWAYS wear a hoodie. The hoodie I’ve been loving is the Gryffindor hoodie from Primark’s Harry Potter range (surprise BLOODY SURPRISE!). If you know me then you’ll know I like in Nike runners from..wait for it…THE MEN’S SECTION! Yes, it’s not because I prefer them, it’s because I have BLOODY HUGE FEET! I’m a size 7 heading for an 8 and women’s runners don’t fit me anymore!
For hair and makeup, I first use the Colab Hair Paradise dry shampoo. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! It absorbs oil like a sponge and leaves zero of the white residue most dry shampoos leave behind. If you didn’t see on my Instagram before, I HAVE RED HAIR! It’s only temporary and I’ve been avoiding excess brushing as that causes it to fade quicker. Space buns, a normal messy bun or a ponytail are my staple styles.
Before I put on any makeup, I prep my skin with my Skincare routine, which you can read my post on it here, Makeup only ever is a small bit of Rimmel Match Perfection concealer under my eyes and on a few rogue spots, eyebrows because God knows I have none, Catrice Lashes To Kill mascara and PS… Matte lipstick in the shade ‘Bronco’. And I store it all in my Harry Potter makeup bag/pencil case from Primark.
All this usually takes me a good two hours so, by the time I’m done, it’s the early afternoon! And that’s where this post ends. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I’m sorry for it being so late! As I said the last one didn’t save so I had to completely rewrite it but there will be another post at the usual time of 8 p.m. That’s all for this post and I will see you in the next one!
